New Delhi December 6, 2013: What a way to say ‘Good bye’ to November than to celebrate by surfing through the official Condé Nast Traveler's website and checking out the results for its Readers’ Choice Awards. Yes, you guessed right! The results have been finally announced yesterday.

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Survey was first started in 1988. The evaluations for the Individual candidates are judged on a set of criteria relevant to their category, based on a standard five-point scale: excellent, very good, good, fair, and poor. The percentage of 'excellent' and 'very good' ratings determines the Final score. For more than 25 years, Condé Nast Traveler's Readers' Choice Awards have been a coveted seal of approval for hotels, cruise ships, and airlines from the world's most discriminating travellers.

According to sources, this year's Readers' Choice survey scores range from a lofty 99.2 for South Africa's La Residence and New Zealand's Lodge at Kauri Cliffs to a lowly 14.7 for Transavia airline. Nearly 80,000 people took part in the survey, casting 1.3 million votes.
